- The "HC" series batteries were designed to give you the option of 4 different capacity ratings capable of fitting into one battery enclosure. A .9-inch door spacer is all that is required for the HC1217W and HC1221W Series batteries to be completely interchangeable. This unique design allows you to offer 4 different models while only paying for one common tooling design. The resulting tooling savings can be in the hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars.
High Efficiency Pb/Ca Cast Alloy Grid Design
- Increased energy/density ratios
  - The HC1221W, HC1225W and HC1228W were designed for high-rate discharge applications. When compared to standard "GP" Series batteries, the "HC" Series batteries' redesigned grid structures provide energy/density ratio increases up to 20%.
- Extended shelf life
  - Battery can be stored up to 18 months at 20°C

- Provides hundreds to thousands of recharge cycles (cycle is based on temperature and depth of discharge)
